The Toronto Singapore Film Festival (TSFF) is a non-profit organization, and the first film festival devoted to feature Singaporean films exclusively in Canada. TSFF aims to create greater awareness and raise the cultural profile of Singapore while showcasing some of the best works from the Singaporean cinema.
Through the annual film festival, TSFF aims to create professional and social networking opportunities between Asians, Canadians and Singaporean living in Canada, thus forging friendships and uniting film interests between Toronto and Singapore, both of which are among the world’s most dynamic multi-cultural cities.
Returning for the 4th season in 2009, we are excited to offer you a great variety of features, shorts, and documentaries, made by some of the most inspiring independent film-makers who seek to tell their stories with wit, creativity and imagination. We enter the realm of film to see our world of humanity, history and culture through their eyes.
This season, we hope to present stories of heart-warming family love, suspense and imagination, tales of hidden truths, as well as entertaining stories of laughter and hope.
Once again, as an organization heavily dependent on volunteers, sponsors, partners, friends and the audience, this festival would not be possible without all your support and assistance. Thank you!
